Oncoustics is looking to expand its Egypt-based software development team. Oncoustics is a North American headquartered healthtech startup developing advanced diagnostic solutions on handheld ultrasound scanners.

Applicants should have 5-10 years of experience in one or more of the following functions: backend/cloud development and devops, mobile development, and/or QA.

Backend/Cloud Engineer
\n
    \n
  • Work with development and R&D teams in development of backend systems and cloud infrastructure; support ML deployment
    • \n
  • Ensure scalability and stability of system infrastructure through proper design, implementation, and test/monitoring
    • \n
  • Support development of devops, ML ops, and instrumentation tools and processes
    • \n
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering or other related majors
    • \n
  • Experience developing and deploying a cloud-based commercial solution
    \n
    • \n

OR
\n
Mobile Engineer
\n
    \n
  • Work with development team in development of mobile solutions
    • \n
  • Ensure scalability and stability of application through proper design, implementation, and test/monitoring
    • \n
  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering or other related majors
    • \n
  • Experience developing and deploying a commercial mobile solution
    • \n
  • Android experience preferred
    • \n

OR
\n
QA Engineer
\n
    \n
      \n
    • Work closely with engineering team to define quality standards and ensure the development of quality-based processes across the company
      • \n
    • Support quality efforts across the Oncoustics software stack: mobile app, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, ML experimentation, and data processing
      • \n
    • Define and deliver test automation systems; also take ownership of manual testing
      • \n
    • Experienced in test automation and test of both cloud-based and mobile solutions
      • \n
    \n
    Please note that as close collaboration is required with the Toronto and San Francisco teams, standard availability required is 4pm-midnight Cairo time, Monday through Friday.
